Khalaf Saddah Alanzi announced as Organising Committee Chairman of EMTEC 2026

We are delighted to announce that Khalaf Saddah Alanazi will be joining EMTEC 2026 as Organising Committee Chairman.


Khalaf is a highly accomplished environmental and engineering leader with more than three decades of experience across environmental protection, health & safety, regulatory compliance, and large-scale industrial projects. He holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (Environmental Option) and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, and is a Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP).


Most recently serving as Environmental Principal Consultant at Aramco, Khalaf has led teams in developing environmental strategies, strengthening technical competencies, and supporting major due diligence initiatives. His career also includes senior leadership roles at Sadara Chemical Company, where he served as Executive Director of EHS&S and was a member of the Company Management Committee, playing a key role in the safe commissioning and startup of 26 world-scale plants.


Throughout his career, Khalaf has successfully delivered complex EH&S programs, secured critical regulatory approvals, reduced operational costs, and achieved best-in-class safety performance across projects involving tens of thousands of workers.


As Organising Committee Chairman, Khalaf will be instrumental in guiding the planning, coordination, and delivery of EMTEC 2026, ensuring a high-impact and world-class event.
