EMTEC 2026 & ETMA at IFAT Saudi Arabia

Members of the EMTEC 2026 and Environmental Technology & Management Association (ETMA) team recently attended the inaugural IFAT Saudi Arabia, held from 26–28 January 2026 at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center. The event attracted a large international audience, bringing together exhibitors and visitors from across the waste, water, recycling, and environmental technology sectors.

The exhibition provided a valuable opportunity to engage with industry stakeholders, reconnect with existing contacts, and gain insight into current market priorities within the Kingdom. Over three days, the team held a number of productive discussions with technology providers, regulators, and operators, exploring areas of mutual interest and potential collaboration across key sectors.

AYM Events’ Managing Director, Alain Marhic, also attended from the UK, joining the delegation for meetings and networking activities. The visit offered useful perspective on the scale of investment and level of activity currently taking place in Saudi Arabia’s environmental and infrastructure markets.

Overall, the event served as a useful platform for dialogue and market intelligence, reinforcing the strong momentum across the sector and the growing importance of international collaboration. The EMTEC and ETMA teams returned with valuable insights that will help inform preparations for EMTEC 2026 and strengthen engagement with stakeholders across the region.
